We signed Theo up for soccer. It’s not like real soccer or anything. There are no actual games. It’s just a bit of organized chaos. A gaggle of 2 year olds learn to sit on spots, stack cones, kick balls and run after coaches who have tails pinned to their butts. It’s all about fresh air, burning energy, being with other kids and learning to listen.
I wanted to do this for all of the above reasons. Plus, Nate has never been able to go to a class with Theo. Weekend soccer seemed like the perfect time to start. And I got to buy Theo some cute sporty pants. Fun!
Did Theo totally love it? Not quite. It seems birds, airplanes and cars serve as quite the distraction. And that following directions regarding stretching and kicking is a challenge. You'd think these kids were two or something.
